The leader of the evangelical spiritual church ini, Primates Elia Ayodle, warned the governor of the state of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo -olu, who are plans to remove it from the office.
He warned that if he wanted to finish his mandate, he would need to retrace his steps.
This is coming in the wake of a crack between the governor and the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has gone around recently.
Primate Ayodele, in a declaration signed by his media helper, Osho Oluwatosin, said that he provided for the crisis between the president and the governor at the beginning of the second term of the latter, but was ignored.
He urged Sanwo-Oell to do everything within him to make sure that any differences that can occur to avoid being shamefully removed as Tinubu is resolved to stop to stop the planned removal.
“I said that Sanwo-Oell and Tinubu will fight. The struggle of Sanwo-Oell and Tinubu has not started; if he is not careful, he will be removed. I want to ask Tinubu not to allow them to remove it.
“I ask Sanwo-Oell to reconcile to avoid being shameful in a shameful way. It is a pity that there are no elderly in politics; they are all after what they eat and do not organize things. If there are no money, they do nothing.”
He urged Sanwo-Ola to be calm and avoid listening to people who are encouraging him to be strongly hearted for the crisis.
“Sanwo-Ever needs to calm down. Find a solution between you and your boss. Once you don’t go well. Once you go, you will realize that people don’t respect you. They are only with you because you are still there.
“I want to urge you to ignore anyone who advises you to be strongly heart. If you are not careful, they will remove you in 2026. The prayers will not be able to save you, so if you do not retrace your steps.”
Sanwo-Elimo was absent during the flag off Epe-Ijebu Ode Road Project, a part of the super motorway that connects Lagos to Calabar.
This also arrives in the wake of Tinubu who snubs the governor by refusing to tighten his hand with him to a public function.
