Protests will continue until Tinubu meets our demands – ‘End of bad governance in Nigeria’ say protesters – TrendyNewsReporters

Those who participated in the “End Bad Governance in Nigeria” protest said they will not stop protesting until President Bola Tinubu meets their demands.

They urged the president to do what was necessary and the protests would be immediately called off.

Addressing journalists in Abuja, the Director of Mobilization of the Take It Back Movement, Damilare Adenola, said the oppression under the president’s leadership had gone on for too long.

He said: “The various court orders restricting protesters to specific locations are an aberration.

“Our presence here today is an announcement that we have been oppressed for too long.

“Today we have risen up. We are telling the president that if President Bola Tinubu does not agree to our demands, we will remain on the streets. We want to see the president on the streets. During the protest, he was on the streets.”
One of the leaders of the Take It Back movement, Ayoola Babalola, said the show of force near Moshood Abiola is an embarrassment to the nation.
He vowed that the protesters would not be intimidated.
