PSC promotes seven AIGs (FULL LIST)

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the promotion of seven Assistant Inspector Generals of Police (AIG) to Deputy Inspector General (DIG).

This was stated by the Head of Protocol and Public Affairs of the PSC, Mr. Torty Kalu, in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

He said the senior officers were promoted to fill the vacancies created due to the retirement of eight DIGs who previously occupied his strategic offices.

The retirement of the eight DIGs follows the appointment of Mr Olatunji Disu, an AIG, as the new Inspector General of Police by President Bola Tinubu.
