A remarkable veterinarian and former president of the FCT chapter of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA), Dr. Ifeanyi Ogbu, has been assassinated in the territory of the federal capital, Abuja.
According to relationships, armed men stormed his residence in Kubwa, Abuja, and kidnapped him together with his three children.
While the nursing wife and other family members hoped for the best, the doctor’s body was later found downloaded from the roadside, while his children were still dispersed.
Andrew Gabriel Ikechukwu, who also shared the tragic news on his Facebook page, explained that dr. Ogbu was kidnapped together with three of his children, but later he found dead while the three children had not yet been released at the time of the press.
Praying for God’s intervention, he said: “Dr. Ifeanyi Ogbu, the immediate past president of the Nvma FCT chapter, who was kidnapped next to his three children from his home in Kubwa Abuja was found dead.
“The three children are [have] still to be released. May God favor intervene. “
The Nigerian police started investigations on the accident.
The murder of Dr. Ogbu has triggered a flow of pain and indignation.
A colleague described his death as “a great loss” and a painful reminder of insyclerity that continues to hit families and communities in Nigeria.
“Nigeria has just occurred to my friend by age, Ifeanyi … her premature death is a painful reminder of the housing that continues to hit families and communities in Nigeria”, wrote a great loss in a post entitled “.
The veterinary community is in mourning, remembering Dr. Ogbu as a dedicated professional and an esteemed member of their profession.
The police have yet to issue a statement on the accident, but investigations are probably underway to arrest the authors.
