Ramadhani Khamis Nassoro will represent Tanzania in the Karate World Championship in Hungary

Dar Es Salaam, September 21, 2025 – Ramadhani Khamis Nassoro, a Karate Top athlete, has been officially selected by the Technical Committee of the Karate Federation of Tanzania (TSKF) to represent Tanzania in the Karate World Championship scheduled for November in Hungry.

The decision follows the conclusion of an integral training course for players and referees, which ended on September 20, 2025 at the Upana Club in Dar Es Salaam. The training and evaluation process was part of the preparations organized by TSKF, emphasizing the development of skills both in competition and arbitration.

Tanzania has received a formal invitation to participate in the next world event. The national team was announced shortly after a visit and seminar by Shihan Ali Tarabeih, a retired Karate champion, the seventh head of Dan and current president of the World Federation of Shotokan, who directed workshops that cover Kihon, Kumite, Kata and Refugio. It is believed that the Tarabeih Seminar, held only a few days ago in Dar Es Salam, has played an important role in the evaluation of local talent and the reinforcement of the expected standards for international competition.

With the official nomination of Nassoro, the Karate of Tanzania hopes to leave a brand on the global stage this November, taking advantage of the experience obtained from the recent training course and the Shihan Ali Tarabeih guide.
