Musician Nigeria Jude “Mi” Abaga has opened his regret for not getting married faster, but he also said he did not have complaints about the current schedule in an emotional and open conversation on the “Jay On Air” program.
An experienced rapper, who married Eniola Mafe in 2022 at the age of 41, said that he experienced regret and melancholy at the late 30s while observing his friends married and having a family.
He claimed that when he was 37 years old, he began to feel guilty because many of his friends who were married at the age of twenties now care for teenagers or send their children to college.
Mi said, “I feel a bit bad because I am not married when I was 37 years old because my friends who were married at the age of 25 and 26 years now have 14 years old children. I have friends who have children who are in college now, and some of those who are not married have children earlier. Jesse has 21 years old children, and I don’t have their own children, so you miss some things.

“There are no complaints because I have the opportunity to meet the beautiful woman I married now, and I really see some providence in that. In the end, when you are not ready, you are not ready. Timeline everyone is different, and this is something that is lost in humanity today.
“In my timeline, I happened to have left a relationship around the age of 39 and met my wife around 40. She was there on my 40th birthday; at that time I was ready, so I asked her to marry me, and we were married when I was 41 years old.”
In retrospection, Mi acknowledged the women in her life who had shown her love and attention while claiming not to be emotionally prepared and inflexible in previous relationships.
“I experienced sadness when I thought about how I was in a previous relationship. I met a lot of good women in my life that supported me. I am immature, and I am stubborn,” he said.
