Reid Aladei elected Amananaowei of the Agbere community

The community of Agbere in the area of ​​the local government of Sagbama in the state of Bayelsa has elected the chief pastor Reid Aladei as a new fundamental sovereign, Amananaowei.

The elections, which were held on June 9, 2025, in the playground of the community of Agbere, were peaceful and transparent.

The Capo Aladei obtained 969 votes, defeating his closest rival, the leader Julius Kinluck, who obtained 902 votes.

Dr. Tarila Nikade, president of the electoral committee (Eleco), announced the results, praising the community for their ordered conduct.

According to Dr.nikade, out of 2,019 accredited voters, 1,941 votes were expressed, with 70 deemed empty.

In his acceptance speech, the chief pastor Reid Alades expressed gratitude to the community of Agbere for their support, promising to lead with integrity, unity and attention to progress and development.

The voters praised the elections as free, fair and credible in the interviews with the dawn newspaper.

They praised Eleco, led by Dr. Nikade, for conducting a transparent and well organized process. The community impatiently awaits the kingdom of Chief Aladei, waiting for positive changes and development.

The community of Agbere, including four quarters – Tambiri, Kakarabiri, Tuburukunu and Ayama – is part of the Kingdom of Tarakiri. With high optimism, the leadership of Capo Aladei should bring progress and units to the community.
