Reno Omokri, a former assistant for former President of Goodluck Jonathan, has sued the television anchor that appeared, Rufai Osian, because of alleged threats to life in the Federal High Court, Lagos.
Omokri who revealed this in a post in his X grip on Wednesday said he had also submitted a petition to the Police Inspector General on Sunday Egbetokun, for a similar threat by a judge Ozobi, who he claimed as a supporter of the presidential candidate of the Labor Party in the 2023 election, Peter Obi.
In that position, Omokri said he took steps after the threat of death against him by Osian which he described as “the famous news anchor Obidient.”

The former President’s assistant stated happiness that the police had begun an investigation of his petition.
He wrote: “I thank the Nigerian police for their rapid response in starting an investigation of the threat of death carried out by me by a judge Ozobi, a supporter of Peter Obi, who was preceded by another threat of death against me by the famous news anchor, where he said that he would end my life.
“These people physically come to my house in the UK, forced me to move, follow me to my daily jogging route, and released my US address details online even because they have threatened to kill my family individual members.
“Obidient’s movements may be the most cruel political group ever in Nigeria, and, shrouded by their leader, Peter Obi, has used the threat of death, insult, cyberbullying, cyber attacks, and other terror tactics to try to impose their political will on Nigeria and the silence of opposition to their gestapo activities.
“But they chose the wrong person when they came against me. In this struggle, one person will be left standing between me and the pious community, and that is not them. No matter how far falsity has been traveling, it must be followed by the truth.”
