Rep the vision of Bago’s governance in Niger

Vice -president of the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives, Hon. Saidu Musa Abdullahi, praised the governor of the state of the Niger, the Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago (Turakin Nupe), for his visionary, courageous and focused governance.

Abdullahi, which represents the federal electoral college of Bida/Gbako/Katchha of the state of the Niger, gave praise to Abuja while evaluating the governor’s performance during a media briefing on Wednesday.

“While we mark the second anniversary of a new chapter of the leadership of the state of the Niger, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the executive governor, to his excellence, Rt. Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago (Turakin Nupe), in two years of visionary governance, courageous and focused on people.

“The governor Umar Bago, affectionately known as the farmer governor, in just two years has redefined what means to serve with a purpose and integrity. His administration has been unrelated to say the least in the agricultural reform, inclusive governance, institutional awakening and bold infrastructure expansion. The results are not only visible, they are exciting.

“Governor Bago is as high as the first leader in the history of our state to personally visit all 25 areas of the local government several times, outside the electoral campaigns. By choosing to undertake these trips entirely on the road, he has shown a leadership style built on accessibility, presence and the profound commitment with the bad,” he said.
