Speaking during the official presentation ceremony, Rep. Normah reaffirmed her commitment to addressing the pressing needs of her constituents. She noted that the buses will help ease transportation challenges for students, traders, and residents, while the ambulance will strengthen emergency medical response services across the district.

“This is about service and impact,” she said. “Our people deserve better access to healthcare and reliable transportation, and these contributions are just one step toward fulfilling that promise.”
Residents and community leaders warmly welcomed the donations, describing them as timely interventions that will significantly improve daily life. Many praised the lawmaker’s visible efforts and hands-on leadership approach.

Beyond the recent donations, Rep. Normah highlighted several key achievements recorded during her first two years in office.

These include the rehabilitation of feeder roads to improve connectivity between towns and villages, support for education through scholarships and school supplies, and investments in local clinics to enhance healthcare delivery.

She also emphasized youth empowerment initiatives, including vocational training programs designed to equip young people with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship. In the agricultural sector, the distribution of farming tools and seeds has increased local food production.

Community stakeholders noted that these initiatives reflect a broader vision of inclusive development and sustainable growth. They called for continued collaboration between local authorities and national leadership to sustain the progress made.

As she enters the next phase of her tenure, Rep. Normah reaffirmed her commitment to transparency, accountability, and people-centered governance.

“We have made progress, but there is still more work to do,” she stated. “Together, we will continue to build a stronger and more resilient Gbarpolu District.”

The donation of the buses and ambulance stands as a clear symbol of that commitment — delivering tangible benefits to citizens and reinforcing hope for continued development in the years ahead.
