Westlotto has been announced as the official partner of the Games of the Fisu Rhine-Ruhr 2025 World University.
For the largest international event of the year, Rhine-Ruhr 2025 and the State Lottery Company of North Rhine-Westfalia have agreed wide cooperation with an approach to the volunteer program.
Westlotto is the largest sports sponsor in NRW and has been a firm volunteer defender in all areas of society for many years.
Westlotto will be present as a sponsor throughout the event from July 16 to 27, offering interactive experiences for fans on the site.
The company will also be represented with its logo in volunteer uniforms, demonstrating its special commitment to the approximately 12,000 volunteers that will be active in the six host cities of Rhine-Ruhr 2025.
The volunteers will be active in all areas of the event and, for example, will support viewers on their trip to the event and during their visits to sports places.
Only with the support of the volunteers may it be possible that Fisu’s university games are a great success this summer.
“The main sporting events and the North-Westphaly Rin go hand in hand. But they are only possible thanks to the help of thousands of volunteers. As a partner of the volunteers, we want to support this invaluable commitment and make it visible in the World University Games,” says the managing director of Westlotto, Andreas Kötter.

The association will come to life for the first time in the voluntary beginning of Rhine-Ruhr 2025 in May, with the presentation of the voluntary uniform and the joint welcome of the many volunteers in Essen.
