Candidate Governor 2023 Labor Party (LP), in the state of Lagos, condemned all the progressive Congress (APC), for the alleged abuse of state institutions by sealing a place where the African Democratic Congress (ADC) was scheduled to hold a meeting.

In a post on his X grip on Friday, Rhodes-Vivour expressed his disappointment over the APC actions and called for an authoritarian regime reversal for democracy.

“It is truly disappointing that Lagos APC abuse state institutions by sealing the place where ADC is scheduled to hold a meeting tomorrow after obtaining the necessary approval,” he wrote.

“This is not only abuse of power, this is a clear effort to hamper the sound of opposition in Lagos.

“We understand that APC is restless about the momentum that ADC and Obidiants build throughout the state, but spread the state security institution to frustrate legitimate political activities that cannot be accepted and undemocratic.

“Lagos belongs to all of us, not some people are elected. And that is our constitutional right to gather legally. Let it clear that there is no amount of intimidation or harassment that will stop us from being involved with the lagos.

“Our movements are supported by people, and there are no barricades or strengths that can weaken their determination for better lagos.
