Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty in extra time but Portugal made it through to the quarter-finals of the European Championship on Monday night.
Ronaldo was in tears after his shot was stopped by Jon Oblak in the first half of extra time.
Portugal were held to a goalless draw by impressive Slovenia for 120 minutes, forcing the game to penalties.
But Slovenia failed to convert any of their shots as goalkeeper Diogo Costa saved all three, while Portugal converted theirs, including Ronaldo’s opener, to win 3-0.

This victory means Portugal will face France in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024.
Earlier on Monday, Kylian Mbappe struggled but France progressed to the quarter-finals with a 1-0 win over Belgium.
France had 19 shots on goal against Belgium but only two were on target and in the end luck gave them the win.
Jan Vertonghen’s own goal in the dying minutes sent France into the quarter-finals.
