Russian artillery fire kills two women in Ukraine

At least two women were killed and several others injured by Russian artillery fire that crossed the Dnipro River and hit a village in southern Ukraine.

One of those injured was a doctor.

The military governor of the Kherson region, Olexander Prokudin, revealed this on Telegram on Friday.

He said Russian forces fired 40 rounds from rocket artillery launchers into the village of Biloserka on the northern bank of the Dnipro overnight.

Meanwhile, around 60 houses were damaged by the attack.

A woman was killed in her home while the body of a second woman was found under the rubble.
