Salvatore Enyiekere assumes duties as a sixth president of the Naughty

[Press Release] Dr. Salvatore Elyiekere has taken on duties as a sixth executive president of the National Assembly Service Commission.

Dr. Enyiekere, together with eleven honorable commissioners, took duties at the office of the Commission of the Service of the National Assembly, Utako, Abuja, shortly after being sworn by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa Aso Rock, Abuja.

He is the first southern Nigerian to become the head of the commission from his creation on June 19, 2001.

The honorable commissioners who reported to the duty together with the president include: Mr. Hanmation Mark Tersoo and Mr. Salisu Umar Agboola-Balogun (Center-North); Alhaji Lawan Maina Mahmud and Aminu Ibrahim Malle (North-East); Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi and Hon Yusuf A. Tabuka (North-West), the chief festus IFefesinachi Odii (South-East), Mary Samuel Ekpenyong and Patrick Giwa (South-South), Mrs. Taiwo Olukemi Oluga and Ipesa-Balogun, Afeez (South-West).

Speaking during the delivery and speaking during the ceremony in the Commission’s conference room, the new Chief of the Nater told the officials of the service of the National Assembly that his leadership would have underlined the well -being of the workers of the service, harmonious work relationships and productivity.

Dr. Enyiekere thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president of the Senate, the senator Godswill Akpabio and the leadership of the National Assembly for giving them the opportunity to serve, committing he would have guided the service to achieve the government’s legislative mandate.

In a message of good will, the employee of the National Assembly, the lawyer Kamoru Ogunlana, ensured the new commission of full cooperation of the management of the National Assembly to achieve success. However, the Commission begged to bring the management of the National Assembly to the key decision -making process.

The Secretary of the Commission, Lucky U. Ikharo, while presented the delivery documents to the new head of the Nater, promised the total commitment of the Directorate to be born towards the actual execution of the commission assignment.
