History will be made today as the International Cargo Airport Sam Mbakwe in Outrri welcomed its first international flight – more than 30 years after initially assigned.
This milestone emerged after the comprehensive improvement of the runway and airport facilities, pioneered by the Governor of the State of IMO Hope Uzodimma.
Sharing Development with Journalists at Outri On Thursday, Information Commissioner, Public Orientation and Strategy, Hon. Declan Emelumba, said the event would be witnessed by a famous hearing.
“High officials, including political and religious leaders and industrial captains, will be in Onterri that day to watch their inaugural international flights from the airport,” he announced.
