Samuel Ikpea Lanza Afrikano Football Club, shares the vision of base football

The president of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, the Reverend Samuel Ikpea, has officially launched a base soccer initiative, Afrikano Football Club, in terms of its long -term commitment to the development of football in Nigeria and Africa.

Speaking in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where its newly founded club will participate in a base tournament, the Reverend Ikpea described the initiative as “a massive dream” that is aligned with the current approach of the Nigeria Football Federation in the base development.

“First of all, I want to congratulate the organizers,” he said. “They really are well and also follow the vision of the current president of NFF, which is about returning to the bases. There are many talents not discovered here. If we build from home like this 1xbet Cup, we will raise players who can fit at any international capacity.”

The Reverend Ikpea, widely known for its energy presence in stadiums with drums and trumpets as the main defender of the national teams, has now taken a bold step by encouraging the stands to possess and finance a club. He explained that his passion for sport, which began in his youth, was redirected to play to support due to family expectations focused on academics.

“I could not follow a career as a footballer due to schooling. But since I could not play, I decided to support, and I have been doing it for more than 30 years, for all our national teams. Now, I have taken it further when establishing my own team, Afrikano Football Club.”

Afrikano FC is not just a Nigerian project; It is part of a broader continental vision. The club is already affiliated with Afrikano Brazil, creating a direct route for the exchange of talents between Africa and South America.

According to Ikpea, Brazil’s players will come to Nigeria, while Nigerian talents will also have the opportunity to train and play in Brazil.

“The dream is to replicate Afrikano in all African countries, with Nigeria as the first step. We plan to expand to places like Cotonou and Ghana below. When international tournaments arise, there will be no need to explore panic, there will already be a structured group of trained African players.”

Ikpea emphasized that Afrikano’s long -term objective is not only the development of talent, but also cultural and football integration into the continents.

While Afrikano FC prepares for his debut, Reverend Ikpea expressed optimism and gratitude extended to all base football supporters.

“It is no longer just about supporting from the stands. It’s time to also contribute to building the game from the Foundation.”

The trip has just started for Afrikano Football Club, but with Reverend Ikpea to the helm, the future seems promising for the next generation of African soccer players.
