Sen ndume raises concerns over the new murder in Borno, asking for more military spread

Following the new wave of violence and murder attacks by terrorists in several parts of the state of Borno, members of parliament representing in the National Assembly, Senator Ali Nduume, have asked military authorities to consider mobilizing more troops to states, especially in Kirawa during the local government of Gwoza and other neighboring communities where terrorists have targeted new in -the -teams.

The ndume who made a call after ambush by rebels on Friday along the Kirawa -Pulka road where some people including members of the Civil Assistance Task Force (CJTF), and several motorists and passengers were injured, regretted new attacks, which stated that the presence of military forces strengthened in areas affected would make terrorists and force them to retreat.

In a statement on Saturday, MPs appealed to the Nigerian military to immediately mobilize troops to Kirawa and surrounding areas to restore security and protect residents from further attacks.

“It is very disappointing to receive a nickname that some armed boko terrorists put an ambush on motorists and passengers along the Kirawa -Pulka road yesterday,” Ndumed said in the statement.

“The victims were escorted by several members of the Civil Assistance Task Force because there was no military escort due to the release of Cameroon troops based in Kirawa last month.

“Unfortunately, one of our brave CJTF members was killed during the exchange of shots. Many victims were not found when I spoke.

“My people now live in eternal fear since the withdrawal of the Cameroon troops last month,” he added.
