Senator representing West Nasarawa, Ahmed Wadada, has resigned from the membership of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Wadata announced his resignation from SDP in a letter addressed to the party leader at the Kofa Ward Case, the Keffi regional government in the nasarawa state.
The letter was seen by journalists on Thursday.
It reads: “I wrote to tell you about my decision to resign as a member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), immediately effective.

“This decision has not been considered easy, but I feel compelled to do it because of the remaining internal crisis that has disturbed our party for some time.
“As you know, this internal conflict has caused serious distribution and litigation in the party.
“I appreciate the opportunities given to me when I was a member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and I was grateful for the experience and relationship that was built.
“However, I feel it’s time for me to move and explore a new path.”
