Seven children were injured in the benue suspected of bombing explosion

At least seven people were injured in the alleged bomb explosion at the LGEA elementary school, the Ukum Regional Government in the Benue state on Tuesday.

The counter-contacting publication focused on the Lake Chad region, Zagazola Makama, confirmed this in a post on Friday.

It is said that the children found him at the school and started playing with him, it was unknown that was an explosive.

The victims, according to publication, are currently receiving treatment at hospitals in the area.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Udeme Edet, also confirmed the incident to journalists on Friday.

He said the command unit for explosive weapons had been deployed to the scene for the assessment.
