The Nigerian army has made a small scrutinism of its high command, with the appointment of new officers of the main staff (PSO), General Commanding Officers (GOC) and other senior commanders to direct various formations throughout the nation.

Following the reshuffle, the major General Chintadu Nnebeife is the new general commander official (Goc), 2 Division, Ibadan, while the main general asks Wase is the new Goc, 1 Division, Kaduna.

The major general Mo Erebelu is the new provost Marshall (PM), while the major General A. An Idris is now the head of military intelligence (CMI).

The major general Je Osifo, DG Nigerian Army School of Finance and Administration, Nasfa,

The major general AA Adeyinka, head of logistics, headquarters of the army, are also appointed.

The major General Adeitoba takes over from the Nigerian Army College of Logistics Management (Nacolm),

The main general Ugiagbe, a former CMI, is now the head of the standards and the evaluation of the army (case).

The major general Akesode is now head of the monitoring, verification and compliance mission in the Tigray region, Ethiopia.

The major general of Mount Abdullahi is now responsible for the Cyber Warfare Center (Nacwc) of the Nigerian army, among other appointments.

All new posts and appointments come into force from 19 to 25 August.
