Singer Ruger recounts the horrific car accident that almost took his life in 2023

Nigerian singer and songwriter Michael Adebayo Olayinka known in music circles as Ruger has narrated the horrific car accident that almost took his life in 2023.

The ‘Dior’ singer, who recalled the incident when he appeared as a guest on The Road Show on Cool FM, revealed that the car he was in crashed three times.

Ruger noted that the accident occurred at night when someone was driving him around Lagos but fortunately no one was injured.

The musician said he hasn’t driven since a car accident last year.

He said, “The last time I drove in Lagos, I had an accident. It was at night, we were playing around when it happened and no one knew about it.

”This is the first time I’m talking about it. The car crashed 3 times but everyone was fine. By the way, this happened last year.” Ruger took notes during the interview.
