The popular Afrobeats sensation Michael Adebayo Olayinka, famous in the music circle as Ruger, has spoken openly about the cruel nature of the Nigerian music industry.
Sensational musicians, who speak in a new appearance at The Stanley Agu Show, stated that true friendship rarely occurs in a cruel atmosphere.
Ruger’s statement, which has triggered discussions among fans and other artists about the nature of industrial relations that are often transactional, revealed the bitter reality that he hoped had been recognized faster in his career.

“One thing that I expected before I knew was that no one was your friend in this industry. What you can have the most are two true friends who support you and want to see you growing. Even when everything is bad, they are with you and make sure that you are good. That’s all, friends.” He said to the interviewer Stanley
Ruger emphasized that most interactions in the music industry are related to business and that an artist can only have “maybe two original friends who support you and want to see you grow” as a true allies.
“Everything is business. Nobody cares. Know that everything is a business. They move with you because you can offer at that time. When you might not be able to offer anything, many people will switch,” Ruger said.
