Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has sacked all commissioners and other political appointees in the state.
Soludo, who was sworn in for a second term on Tuesday, directed all political appointees in the state to immediately hand over their duties.
The governor gave the directive in a circular signed on Wednesday by the Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Nwabufor Nwankwo.
“I am directed to inform all political appointees to hand over their posts to Permanent Secretaries or the most senior civil servants in various MDAs on or before the close of work today, until a new cabinet is formed,” the circular said.
