South Africa to use the improvised defense against Lesotho, Nigeria, in the World Cup qualifiers

The chief coach of the Senior National Team of South Africa Hugo Broos will enter the games in the World Cup qualifiers without the fulfillment of his four favorites in defense, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.

South Africa enters the World Cup qualifiers leading his group and needing two victories to seal a place in the tournament, will play Rwanda tomorrow before a match against Nigeria on Tuesday.

The Belgian will enter the game without the core of the experienced players who helped his team reach the AFCon semifinal, and so far have been part of their good career in the World Cup qualifiers.

Mothobi Mvala, Grant Kekana, Siyanda Xulu and Nkosinathi Sibisi are their go to quartet in defense, but none of them will participate in both games, in some cases due to injuries, physical conditioning concerns or not having play time in their various clubs.

In his absence, Broos will have to trust the defenders who are not tested at this level, with the Siyabonga Ngezana and Aubrey duo modiba the only ones with more than five caps on their list of eight defenders for both games.
