South Korean president, Yoon Suk Yeol, has been expelled from the office after the Constitutional Court strengthens the impeachment on Friday.
On December 3 last year, Yoon declared a martial emergency during the budget dispute with opposition and plunged the country into a crisis.
This step causes the impeachment by parliament.
Yoon confirmed his actions by accusing the opposition of acting on the state and infiltrated by communists, although no evidence was given to support these claims.
The court, in a round decision, argued that the imposition of Yoon’s military law was not justified by the national crisis.
Likewise, Yoon violated the law when he sent soldiers to the National Assembly to prevent the appointment of martial emergency.

Yoon said he apologized for failing to fulfill public expectations in a statement a few hours after the court’s decision.
“I am very sorry to not meet your expectations and hopes,” Yoon said in a statement.
“It is the biggest honor in my life to serve our nation. I am very grateful for your unshakable support and encouragement, even when I fail.”
The ruling Yoon people’s power party has received a court decision, while the Democratic Party’s main opposition welcomes him as “the people’s victory.”
The verdict means that the new election must be held within 60 days with Prime Minister Han Duck functions as an acting president.
