The sports director of LaLiga Sevilla says that his decision to sign the International Eaves of Nigeria Kelechi Iheanacho in a free transfer in the summer was a mistake, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.
Iheanacho left the club after six months next to the Middlesbrough English championship in a loan agreement after not stopping stopping its mark. The decision to sign it in the first place has been largely condemned by team fans.
When addressing the problem, Victor Orta, who led the signing process of the 28 years, admitted that it was a bet that did not come out as planned. He said it is largely why another striker in his partner Jerome Akor Nigeriano was signed in the January transfer window.
“I want to clarify that the first two strikers were brought as accessories, to be practically the third striker, because there was a headline like Youssef and a striker who later appeared, like Isaac,” Orta said.
“But it is clear that betting on Kelechi this season has been a mistake, and we will analyze why we succeed, and we are doing it now.”
