Tobi Amusan, Nigeria’s star hurdler, faced a charge of violation of whereabouts rules brought by World Athletics and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). However, the CAS dismissed the charges, stating that Amusan did not violate Rule 2.4 of the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules (WA ADR).
The ruling read: βAccordingly, the impugned Decision in which the WADT found that Tobi Amusan did not violate Rule 2.4 of the WA Anti-Doping Rules (WA ADR) and that no period of ineligibility should be imposed on the athlete is confirmed.β .
