People are in trouble, be kind! Nick Imudia, CEO of D.light, a leading innovator of residential solar energy solutions, committed suicide in his apartment. Imudia was a former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of one of Nigeria’s e-commerce giants, Konga.
He killed himself on the night of Tuesday, June 25, by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos. Before taking the leap, he called his brother who lives in the United States to instruct him on how to distribute his wealth in case something happened to him. He also contacted his young daughter from a previous relationship, telling her that he would always be there for her and that she could only look up at the sky and see it. His friends, family and colleagues are shocked as to why he would commit suicide.
Imudia hailed from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
