Super Eagles players aware that South Africa lost three points for the inelegable player

Nigerian senior national team players tell them that FIFA will deduce three points of the World Cup qualifiers that rivals South Africa for presenting an inelegable player in his 2-0 victory over Lesotho, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.

Teboho Mokoena was supposed to be suspended for the victory over Lesotho after collecting two previous reservations, but played for more than 80 minutes in the victory, before being out of the victory to Benin Republic.

That action has proven to be expensive with FIFA by hitting a three -point deduction in them, which has reduced its advantage at the top of the group to one over Lesotho, who will be given three points and three goals of the game.

Crucially Nigeria will move to the three points of the leaders who give them a ray of hope to choose the only ticket in the group, with a game outside South Africa that is emerging as the decisive group.

“We are aware of the saga and also of the expected punishment. Therefore, it is nothing to worry about. Now we have to take advantage of the situation because the lack of doing it will mean that we do not deserve to go to the World Cup,” said a senior player in the team in London where they are campaigning in the Unity Cup.
