Super Eagles star Maduka Okoye remembered as Serie A Goalkeeper of the Week

Maduka Okoye has celebrated her return to the Super Eagles by being named Goalkeeper of the Week in the Italian Serie A.

Although Udinese lost 1-0 to Juventus, Okoye was brilliant in the matchday 29 clash.

He made at least seven big saves.

And this performance has now been rewarded with a call-up to the Super Eagles.

The Udinese goalkeeper opted out of AFCON 2025 after coach Eric Chelle did not guarantee him the number one spot.
