Captain Rasheedat Ajibade has declared that the Super Falcons now want to be world champions after having conquered Africa a tenth time that recorded records.
On Saturday night in Rabat, the Super Falcons fought to be two goals to overcome the Moroccan hosts 3-2 and claim 10th Wafcon crown.
The Falcons have appeared in the nine editions of the Women’s World Cup and their best performance reached the quarterfinals in 1999.
Two years ago, in the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand they stretched in twice England European champions for a shooting in the second round.
The WAFCon Ajibade 2024 MVP has said that the team can aim at the greatest prize in women’s football in the world, the World Cup.
“We are not happy to rest in our laurels. Our vision is bold. We want to become the best women’s football team in the world,” said an upward ajibade.
