On Friday, a court of Iyaghanku magistrates in Ibadan ordered the mandate of nine accused in a correction structure for alleged murder of minors.
The defendants, who have been accused of conspiracy, murder and malicious fire, are: Sunday of 19 years Moses, Lukuman Aremu, 23 years old and Rasheed Abdulahi, 20 years old.
Others are: Aboye Ojo, 21, Kazeem Olayiwola, 40, Oladipupo Abass, 34 years old, Abdulrahnan Isiaka, 21, Lukman Awujoola, 23 and Adelowo Ojo (adult).
The magistrate, Mrs. Olasinmibo Sanusi-Zubair, did not take the reason for the defendants for lack of jurisdiction.
He ordered the police to return the file to the director of the judicial public (DPP) for legal advice.
Therefore, it has updated the case until May 20 for mention.
Previously, the prosecutor, inspired. Olagoke Adegbenro, he told the Court that the defendants committed the crimes on April 16, to Ikoyi-Leole, in the state of Oyo.
He said the defendants illegally caused the death of seven -year -old Burrat Hamzat, stabbing it with a knife.
He said the defendants also set illegally on fire to the houses belonging to Muhammed Useri, Usman Abubakar and Abdulahi Abubakar.
Adgbenro said that the burnt houses were evaluated for 1550 million.
He said the crimes violated sections 516, 319 and 443 of the criminal laws of the state of Oyo, 2000. (Nan)
