Police officers in Edo have arrested one Kingdom Paul over the alleged murder of a 38-year-old woman, Victory Oro, in the state.
The 18-year-old was among suspected criminals paraded by the state police command spokesman, Moses Yamu, at the command headquarters on Friday.
He said the suspect stabbed the victim at a local guesthouse in Benin City, where they had sex after a negotiated agreement.
The spokesman added that a fight broke out after they had sex and the suspect allegedly stabbed the woman.

Yamu said: “On 05/09/2024 at about 12:00 noon, members of the Evbuotubu Division acting on a tip-off, arrested one Kingdom Paul ‘m’ 18 years old who stabbed a woman named Victory Oro ‘f 38 years old at a hut where they had gone to have fun.
“The victim was immediately rushed to Supreme Hospital, Upper Ekenwan and died.
“The body has been deposited at the hospital morgue for an autopsy. The investigation is still ongoing.”
