The APC government saved Nigeria from the collapse of -Tinubu

Bola President Tinubu said on Tuesday that the 10 -year regulation of the Congress of all Progressive (APC) saved the country from collapse.

Tinubu stated this in Outrri, Imo, in the presentation of a book entitled: “A Decade of Progressive and Influential Leadership in Nigeria,” written by Governor Hope Uzodimma.

He said the launch of the book was important because it reflects the collective efforts and sacrifice of progressive thoughts over the past 10 years, starting with the late President Muhammadu Buhari.

The President praised Uzodimma for his attention, vision, and achievement in infrastructure and to accept the challenges of writing books.

He said: “By recording a milestone and struggle for the 10 years we have gone through, he has given Nigeria a gift.

“There is no nation that is able to forget its own journey, and there are no leaders who have to escape the beauty of confidence.”

President Tinubu expressed his belief that Nigeria was no longer in a place 10 years ago under the renewable Hope agenda.

He stated that after stabilizing the country’s economy, it grew by 4.23 percent in the second quarter of this year.

Tinubu added: “Growth with the aim, not only on paper. This is real growth.

“Inflation has dropped to 20.12 percent in August, the lowest in more than three years.

“You may not feel it. Be patient. I am grateful for your durability, patience, and perseverance.

“Nigeria changes for the better, and you will feel better days.”

He stressed that the country’s external reserves are currently established at $ 42.03 billion, the highest since 2019.

Tinubu noted that it was proof that the country regained its strength and credibility in the global economy.

“Our trade surplus rose more than 44 percent in the last quarter, while manufacturing exports jumped 173 percent.

“These numbers talk about Nigeria who produce, export, and compete more than before,” he said.

He boasted that Naira had been determined under the reform of exchange, with a new investment flow to restore confidence in the economy.

The President urged critics to have trust in progressive government and convince them that the economy will ultimately work for all Nigerians.

He denied the report that religious persecution developed rapidly in the country.

“The last decade is a period of change, the coming decade will be an era of renewal and stability that will ensure victory for the country,” Tinubu concluded.
