The main priest of the Light Nation Church, Apostle Femi Lazarus, has replied to Timi Dakolo after the singer called him over his comments about excessive financial demands made by several Gospel artists to perform on church events.
Remember that Timi Dakolo has called the Apostle Lazarus on social media after a video that is said to show that the priest projects an $ 10,000 honorarium invoice from a gospel artist during the sermon.
Among other requirements, invoices distributed online by scholars include a compulsory deposit of 50% that cannot be returned, class one ticket, and lodging.
The Apostle Lazarus later argued that this financial demand was too high for the ministry.
In a post on his Instagram page, Timi Dakolo challenged the priest who was dressed well to mention the artist.
He wrote, “Nigeria, you should not trust everything you see. No one has 40 crew in Nigeria. Mention the artist to justify restrictions.”
Timi Dakolo also showed a number of posts that included the two email screenshots he received when he applied to the Rasul Lazarus $ 150 school per student.

“All of this is said in love and respect, sir. I am not a gospel artist but a Christian who was raised in the church. Do not shift the goalpost. With your definition, if anyone accused to serve, they are not gospel artists; they are players. And with that definition, if there is a preacher to teach and serve, they are traders and motivation as well.
” Sir, you charge the cost as low as $ 150 per person for your service school, teaching and preaching Jesus, may have as many as 1,000 students. Let’s do math. Do you even have premiums and standards for God’s home? Are you not selling gifts and revelations given freely to you? Once again, don’t keep shifting the goalpost, “added the singer.
When reacting to comments made by Timi Dakolo in a post shared on his Instagram page, the Apostle Lazarus admitted that the singer was a music legend that deserved his interest.
He wrote; ” My sister @TIMIDAKOLO is a music legend. Give him the flowers
” Really man! He really brought the burden of musicians. His concern is real.
”I love you. A better structure will be built. Pain is real. From pulpit to bench, the pain is real, but we will be fine.
“This generation will not have a lot of pain. The host will be better. Guests will do better. We will have a better nation together.” Apostle Lazarus concluded.
