The Arewa forum praises the 100 days in office for the boss Naic Danfulani

The Arewa Agricultural Forum praised the CEO and the CEO of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (Naic), Yazid Shehu Umar Danfulani, for what they described as a significant start in its first 100 days in office.

They noticed that Danfulani has established a clear direction for the agency, aligning the Naic programs with the renewed agricultural agenda of the hope of President Bola Tinubu, who gives priority to food safety, expansion of irrigation and mechanized agriculture.

In a declaration issued in Abuja, the president of the group, Prof.hassan Muhammed, praised his practical approach to agricultural transformation, citing his efforts to revive the institutional force of the agency, strengthen partnerships with state governments and attract investments in the private sector in irrigation and mechanization.

“Yazid Danfulani has, in just 100 days, that the leadership built on vision and integrity can reposition Naic as a key actor in national development,” said the group.

“Its push to expand irrigable land, support farmers and introduce modern agricultural practices is live harmony with the agricultural policy of President Tinubu.”

They also praised his attention on transparency, the Empowerment of young people and the participation of women in agriculture, indicating ongoing training programs and support initiatives of farmers introduced under his watch.

According to Northern leaders, Danfulani’s reforms are already giving farmers new trust and laying the foundations for a long -term agricultural revolution throughout Nigeria.

They urged him to support the momentum by reducing Naic’s projects in the six geopolitical areas, ensuring that rural communities and agricultural cooperatives fully benefit from irrigation and agricultural development.

“Northern Nigeria, and in fact the nation in general, is proud of the results of the Dr Yazid Danfuflani in such a short period,” added the declaration.

“His first steps give us the trust that Naic under his leadership will play a central role in facing food insecurity and increasing agricultural productivity.”
