The armed man killed police officers escorting the Drive of the Polio Vaccine who was not funded in Pakistan

Armed people on a motorcycle on Tuesday killed a police officer at a PBB polio drive in Pakistan.

Health workers and police are conducting a polio vaccination drive from door to door in the country when the armed people hit.

The latest attack targeting the campaign occurred in the city of Naushki in the Southwest Balochistan Province which recovered during the third national national vaccination trip, said police officer Mohamed Hussain.

He said the health workers escaped without injury when the attackers escaped from the scene after the shooting.

There is no group that claims to be responsible so far, but both the Pakistani state militias and the Islamic state are active in the region and have targeted the polio vaccination campaign.

At least two officers were killed in Balochistan last month while escorting unfurbed drives carried out regularly throughout Pakistan.
