An aggrieved candidate, Amb. Fubara Dagogo, has filed a suit against the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Federal High Court, Abuja, over alleged unlawful exclusion from the party’s national convention.
Dagogo is vying for APC national deputy chairman, South-South, at the party’s national convention scheduled for Saturday at Eagle Square, Abuja,
He urged Justice Joyce Abdulmalik to determine whether there would be a valid zonal congress for the South-South APC with his exception after he was cleared and paid for his expression of interest (EoI) and nomination form.

He is demanding N100 million as compensation for his alleged unlawful exclusion from the convention.
The case, which was scheduled for trial on Friday, could not proceed because the judge was not present.
The case, listed as “number 6” on the cause list, was later adjourned until March 30 for mention.
