The Christian group claims that ISWAP controls 80 communities in the highlands, Borno, Benue

A non-governmental organization, the agenda of Christian rights (CRA), has increased alarm over the wave of endless violence attacks in the highlands, Borno and Benue.

Cra said in a statement issued on Sunday in JOS by the Secretary General, Rev. Kallamu Musa Dikwa, that more than 80 communities in three states had fallen under the control of the terrorist of West African Province (ISWAP).

He added that his team had monitored the situation carefully and condemned a series of new violence as an effort to be coordinated by rebels to force terror, religious intolerance, and complete anarchy in affected countries.

Dikwa revealed that the organization had mobilized the team to Benue, highlands, and Borno to gather direct evidence of the increasing humanitarian disaster faced by the Christian community.

The statement reads: “The initial report has confirmed that more than 80 communities have been captured by terrorists, leaving traces of death, destruction, and mass transfer behind them.

“The current attack is systematic, organized, and aimed at destroying the entire Christian community,” Pastor Dikwa said, while warning that Nigeria stood at a dangerous intersection if the urgent action was not taken by the Federal Government led by President Bola Tinubu.

‘While we praised Mr. The President for issuing new lines of lines to security institutions to curb violence, CRA, however, warned that such direction should not be just cosmetics.

“There is a need for strict implementation and accountability; security personnel who fail to fulfill their duties must be approved to prevent further sabotage.

“It can no longer be accepted to underestimate the gravity of the situation. The community is being destroyed. Children, women, and parents are slaughtered.

“The house is burned to ashes. This is genocide, and must be called by the original name.”

He said the organization was compiling a comprehensive database of attacks to expose ongoing persecution against Christians in Northern Nigeria.

Dikwa promised to tell the international community about the deteriorating situation and warned that except urgent and firm actions were taken, the number of people who fell under terrorist control could multiply to disrupt the region and plunge Nigeria into a deeper socio-political crisis.
