The conveyor issued a public apology to Aisha Buhari for divorce claims: “That is a cruel mistake in assessment”

Professor Farooq Kperogy, a graduate of journalism and the media who appeared at Kennesaw State University, had openly apologized to former First Lady Aisha Buhari for her new claim that she was no longer married to the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a Facebook post that touched the heart on Sunday, July 20, the Chopper revoked his previous statement and described his actions as a mistake of serious personal and professional steps.

“To Mrs. Aisha Buhari, I offered my sincere and unconscious apology for unnecessary and very regrettable pain that I had caused. I really regret it,” he wrote.

Apology follows a reaction to the Facebook post on July 16, where the Chopo accused that the former First Lady had divorced the President of Buhari, returned to the name of her girl Halilu, and did not want to take care of her during her last illness.

In his revocation, the US -based professor admitted that although his claim was based on information from what he considered “a very trusted source,” he now realizes that Go Public with such sensitive material is a big rating.

“Announcement of information is a mistake on my side, because not every information is well sourced for public consumption,” he said.

Chief praised Alhaji Sani Zorro, a former aide to Mrs. Buhari and someone who “respected him very much,” by encouraging him to re -judge and finally withdraw his statement. He acknowledged that Mrs. Buhari itself has the right to define its marriage status, regardless of outside interpretation.

“Ny. Buhari itself has the highest authority and the right to define the status of his marriage … The truth must be respected as the highest, whatever other facts that may exist,” he added.

While emphasizing that he acted without bad intentions, the Chief recognized that his actions violated their own ethical standards and cause unnecessary damage.

“I should not share it in public. Point. Doing that violates every moral and ethical principle that I appreciate and guard,” he said.

He described the episode as “one of the worst and most cruel deviations” in his career and said it had brought him “extraordinary personal sadness.”

Apologies have attracted reactions on social media, with many who praise the professor for acknowledging his mistakes, even when controversy continues to arouse public conversations around the responsibilities of the media and personal privacy.
