Judge Obiora Egwuatu from the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday gave the Mission of the National Rescue (NRM) Green Light to serve accusations of insult to the Chairperson of the Independent National Election Commission (Inec), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, in a way that was replaced in a replaced way (
The judge gave an application after the legal counsel to NRM, Oladimeji Ekengba, moved the former party motion for its effects.
He directed that Form 48, which was a notification of the consequences of the disobedience of court orders, was served in Mahmood by handling the same thing to any commission staff at his national headquarters in Abuja.
Ekengba, when moving the motion, accused that Inec and its chairman violated Mandamus’s orders made by the court on March 5, which directed them to receive the results of an emergency convention that resulted in an executive led by the head of the party led by the head of Edozie Njoku.
He said the reason for the emergency convention held on January 17 was to fill vacancies and correct setbacks at the National Executive Committee (NEC).
“Respondents were aware that the emergency convention, the subject of the verdict, was held on January 17, 2025, even with the process before this honorable court.

“Even though with the advice of the respondent’s judgment/advisor with the name, MA Bawa, is in court when the verdict is submitted, the decision of the decision takes pain to continue to serve the debtor/respondent of the decision with a copy of the registered decision order.
“Even though it was realized, the debtor’s decision (Inec) refused to comply with this honorable court decision until now,” the lawyer said.
In a written statement that was overthrown by Adebayo Wasiu, NRM registered how Inec ignored the court orders.
After listening to the lawyer, Judge Egwuatu gave the application.
The judge, however, argues that the applicant must, after making the service, overthrowing a written statement to show the name of the Inec official who received the document.
He postponed this problem until July 15 to be mentioned.
