The Equity Market started with a good start this week on Monday, March 24, 2025 because investors recorded NIGERIAN EXCHANGE GROUP (NGX )’s profit.
This follows the surge in stock prices such as Royalex, Livestock, Abbeybds, among others, on the trading floor.
After five hours of trading in the capital market, the capitalization of equity increased to ₦ 66,189 trillion from ₦ 65.820 trillion recorded by the exchange on Friday, March 21, 2025.
The Benchmark All-Share Index (ASI) increased to 105,551.39 points from 104,962.96 points recorded on the previous trading day.
The extent of the positive market because 24 shares advanced and 22 shares declined, while 76 shares remained unchanged in 13,314 agreements.

Royalex, livestock, AbbeyBDS lead other growth with 10%, 9.87% and 9.72% growth in prices closed at N0.88, N9.24 and N3.95 from N0.80, N8.41 and N0.80 per previous share.
Nem, said, and CWG led other price declarts with 9.63%, 9.29% and 6.67% decreased each in stock prices to be closed at N12.20, N16.60 and N8.40 from N13.50, N18.30 and N9.00 per previous share.
In the volume index, Zenithbank led trade with 55 million shares in 1,011 agreements followed by FCMB traded 49 million shares in 296 offers.
Uba traded 47 million shares in 1,164 agreements.
In the value index, Zenithbank occupies the peak of stock traded with security worth N2.6 billion in 1,011 agreements followed by uba traded by equity worth N1.8 billion in 1,164 agreements.
Accesscorp stock traded worth N834 million in 875 offers.
