The family confirms the death of Arase Solomon

The family of the retired police inspector, Arase Solomon, confirmed his death.

Arase died on Sunday 31 August 2025 in a short illness at the Cedarcrest Hospital in Abuja.

A declaration of his son, Arase Solomon, Junior, confirmed the death of his father.

The declaration, entitled: “Notification of the disappearance of Dr. Solomon Arase, cf. NPM, FDC, former police inspector, Federal Republic of Nigeria”, reads in the extension:

“The Arase family of Benin-City, Edo State, announces the passage of Solomon Ehigiator Arase, PhD., See, NPM, FDC, former police inspector.

“He broadcast about 9 on Sunday 31 August 2025, at the Cedercrest Hospital, Abuja, in a short illness. He was 69 years old.

“After a meritorious service as a police inspector, Dr. Arase was president of the Police Service Commission (PSC).

: It was also a member of the body of Benchers.

“The family seeks the understanding and prayers of friends, members and supporters in this difficult moment, since they take the necessary provisions for its obese who will be announced in debt time.”
