The Fisu ambassador brings together students Nigerian athletes before 2025 World University Games

Fisu’s student ambassador, Olasubomi Ogundele, urged students Nigerian athletes who compete in 2025 Games from the Fisu World University to make the country proud.

The Fisu World University Games of 2025 begin on Wednesday, July 16.

Ogundele praised athletes for their dedication, resistance and the sacrifices they have made to balance academics with high -level sports.

She described her participation as a testimony of the potential of Nigerian youth and a symbol of hope for the future of the nation.

“It’s not just about sports,” Ogundele said. “These are the long hours of training, the courage to compete internationally and the pride of using green and white.”

The ambassador urged athletes to adopt games as their time to shine, reminding them that their efforts inspire younger generations and exhibit Nigeria’s talent to the world.

“Believe in your preparation, trust your trip and keep your head high regardless of the result. You are already champion to get so far,” he added.

Ogundele asked the Nigeria team to compete with “pride, passion and purpose”, ensuring the unwavering of the nation.
