The Ghana government has given satellite internet companies, Starlink, owned by the richest people in the world, Elon Musk has been given one month to stop operations in West Africa.
The National Communication Authority (NCA) Ghana, in a statement on Monday, said that Starlink did not have a license to provide internet services in this country.
However, there are reports about the company’s services used and advertised domestically.
Starlink has been given a 30 -day warning by NCA to stop the operation or risk of legal and regulatory impacts.
This includes the possibility of confiscation of equipment and punishment for people or companies that allow services without permission.

NCA also threatened to pursue traders who sell Starlink kit or advertise services without authorization.
The public has been warned not to use the service to receive complete authorization.
Since then Starlink has been placed under notice by the Minister of Communication, Digital Technology, and Ghana Innovation, Sam George.
“Meet our rules, including establishing a local office and support center to ensure customers can get assistance when needed, or pack,” he said.
