Governor Francis Nwifuru of the state of Ebonyi has sworn in five journalists, among others, as members of the Board of Directors of the Ebonyi Broadcasting Corporation (Ebbc).

He said: “The commitment made to me when I released funds to rehabilitate the company was not satisfied.

“That’s why I have appointed professionals on the company’s board to ensure that he is responsible with his national counterparties.

“I am not someone who praises those who are not going well and do not reproach those who are fine.”

The appointed in separate interviews with Nan thanked the governor for the appointment and committed themselves to justify the trust placed in them.
