The group celebrates 2 years in office for Abbas.

The Muqaddas team, in collaboration with the Youth for Tukur Tukur’s political progression, marked the two years of RT’s anniversary. Hon. The mandate of Dr. Abbas Tajudeen as president of the House of Representatives, greets his leadership as a unifying force in the legislative panorama of Nigeria.

Speaking to the celebration as a guest speaker, Comrade Abdul Azeez Suleiman reflected on the challenges that they faced the national assembly when Abbas assumed the assignment, describing the political climate as one of uncertainty and division.

He said Nigeria needed a leader who could fill the gaps, encourage dialogue and combine different voices for common purposes.

The host speaker said that Iyan Zazzau not only climbed to this occasion, but also redefined what means to guide integrity, compassion and commitment for people.

According to him, leadership does not concern the position or power, it is the ability to inspire, mobilize and emit a significant change.

Comrade Surleiman said that, under the management of the rapporteur Abbas, we witnessed a transformation in the dynamics of our legislative processes.

While recognizing the contributions of Aliyu Garba Waziri and recognizing his fundamental role as a connection officer for the rapporteur.

Comrade Surleiman who recognized Abbas supported the inclusiveness, ensuring that every voice is listened to and that every concern is addressed, also stressed that during this period Abbas gave priority to the people’s agenda and listened to the aspirations of the citizens, translating their hopes and dreams into impossible policies.

The guest speaker proposed a strategic agenda for the people of the federal electoral college of Zaria to re -elevate the rapporteur Abbas in the Chamber of Representatives in 2027, who will follow his conservation as president of the 11th National Assembly.

He said this initiative is aligned with the early political transition in 2031.

He said it is essential for the North to present a practicable and credible candidate for the presidency.

He said, this foresight underlines the need to consolidate political capital now to guarantee a Nordic and unified front in the next electoral cycle.
