A group, a peace, security and development initiatives (PSDI) warmed up against the politicization of the security situation in the country.
The group observed that this act could worsen the security situation in the country.
Contacting a press conference in Abuja, advertising secretary, PSDI, Amechi Chuks Oyema, he invited the political class to regardless of the political division of the show on national security issues
Telling how politicians with sinister reasons are politicizing the security problems, he said: “Just recently, when 16 hunters linked to Kano were lynched in Uromi, in the state of Edo, a prominent politician sentenced the murders and asked for probe.
“Advancely to the massacre of 60 inhabitants of the village, the politician himself immediately criticized the security architecture of Tinubu, as if Uromi had a specially designed security architecture!”
According to Oyemma, another attempt to politicize security challenges is the recent divine intervention that led to the rescue of the former general manager of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), Brig.-Gen. Maharazu Tsiga (RTD.)
Rather, he said that appreciating God and the armed forces of Nigeria for the rescue, some have decided to give a different narrative aimed at portraying the government and the armed forces of Nigeria as a failure.
“This set of politicians refused to see something good in the current administration, so he will transform their face from the various praised efforts of the armed forces of Nigeria.
“It is discouraging that a politician of that position will choose to demoralize the troops who are doing sacrifices to protect the country.
“Leaving for them, the country should be on fire so that they can have a way to attack the administration.
“We ask politicians to show the stall. If you launch stone on the market, you don’t know where it will land,” he said.
He said that those politicians refused to recognize the successes recorded by the military under the guidance of General Christopher Musa, because they are interested only in the negative.
He said: “The armed forces of Nigeria under the current leadership, from our observations they are doing so much to face the safety challenges.
“Terrorists, bandits and other criminals are surrendering to droves. Some stubborn are killed. The armed forces are facing the theft of oil, saving a lot of money in the country.
“But this set of” pull it “politicians will not see it. They are interested only in the negatives.”
Speaking also, Amaechi urged young people to avoid all forms of vices and support the military in the current struggle against insecurity in the country.
“We use this opportunity to recommend in particular our young people to avoid all the negative defects and this set of politicians who have their children abroad but would always like to use innocent young people in the house for folves.
“Be aware that the AFN is the same as the task and you will not go free if you allow desperate politicians to use you
“We want to mention the former general manager of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), Brig.-Gen. Maharazu Tsiga Rtd.). ‘We should not sit down and believe that the government can do it alone”
