The hawks crowned queens from Africa while Ajibade shines brighter

Captain Rasheedat Ajibade was crowned tournament player in the Women’s African Cup of Totalenergies Caf in Morocco, which led Nigeria to a historic Wafcon title with his leadership and winning performances of parties.

Ajibade won the woman in the game of the game in three separate games, the clash of the group stage against Botswana, the demolition of quarterfinals of Zambia and the tense semifinal wins on South Africa, which demonstrates their dominance and consistency in the great scenario.

The Super Falcons completed a glorious tournament with a dramatic 3–2 victory on the hosts of Morocco in Rabat, erasing a two -go deficit to ensure its crown that extended records in a match held as one of the greatest returns in Wafcon’s history.

Among the stalls, Chiamaka Ndadazie remained firm throughout the tournament and the best goalkeeper was deservedly called, after having granted only two goals at open play, both in the final, after going to the stage and rooms.

The interim coach of Nigeria, Justin Madugu, was also recognized as coach of the tournament, guiding the Falcons through a dramatic and successful campaign, reinforcing his legacy enduring in the continent.

Other prizes after the tournament included Ghizlane Chebbak of Morocco, who claimed the Boot Golden with five goals, and South Africa, who received the Fair Play award for his disciplined and respectful exhibition.
